Founded in 2019 by the dedicated husband-and-wife team, Matt and Emily, we are a family-run business built on a foundation of passion, expertise, and a commitment to exceptional quality.
Matt’s journey in the flooring industry began at the young age of 15. Starting as a warehouse assistant, he quickly developed a deep understanding and genuine love for all things flooring. This hands-on experience provided him with invaluable knowledge and a meticulous eye for detail that remains at the heart of Courts Flooring.
Driven by his passion and a desire to deliver outstanding results, Matt established Courts Flooring. In 2022, we proudly opened our showroom, a testament to our rapid growth and dedication to serving our community. Matt personally trains our three full-time fitters, Joe, Jake and Ted, ensuring that his high standards of craftsmanship and precision are consistently met on every project.
Complementing this skilled in-house team is Kyle, a valued full-time subcontractor who brings over 16 years of invaluable fitting experience, further strengthening our commitment to expert installation.
Alongside Matt, Emily plays a vital role in bringing the vision of Courts Flooring to life. Drawing on her previous experience in the property sector and a keen eye for interiors and design, Emily joined the business after the arrival of their two sons, Ralph and Huey.
Working in the showroom alongside her mother, Mo, Emily provides a warm and welcoming environment for clients. She is passionate about understanding individual needs and guiding customers through our extensive range of flooring options to help them create the perfect aesthetic for their spaces. Emily’s dedication to customer satisfaction and her understanding of design principles ensure a seamless and inspiring experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Last but certainly not least, meet Dorris, our beloved family dog and cherished company mascot! Doris brings a touch of warmth and personality to our showroom, often greeting customers with a wagging tail and occasionally indulging in a well-deserved nap amidst the samples. She embodies the friendly and approachable spirit of Courts Flooring.
